Fernando and Telma Argumedo are graduated from the Central America Theological Seminary (Seminario Teológico Centro Americano in Spanish) in Guatemala. They got married in Guatemala and use their skills and gifts for God’s Kingdom as a couple since they met. God called them to ministering in the United States of America among the Hispanic population.
They joined World Impact in 2000, and started out in church planting and evangelism, taking the word of God to the unreached of L.A. The Argumedo's started the Jefferson Christian Fellowship which is located on Jefferson Boulevard near by to USC.
Currently Fernando serve as The Urban Ministry of Los Angeles [TUMI-LA] Site Director and instructor since September 2005 and Telma gives an administrative support to this ministry too. TUMI-LA is dedicated to equip urban leaders for the work of the ministry in the inner cities of America. They are heavily involved in pastoral care and support, mentoring opportunities, where they provide an accountability relationship among the Hispanic pastors and church leaders. |
